The library developer community at Harvard ranges across units and campuses, and the large and decentralized environment means that application developers are sometimes unaware of similar or related projects happening outside their own unit. This project conducted research and discussions across units to determine how to improve internal collaboration, raise awareness of projects, and support effective communication across libraries and IT. A major outcome of this project was the revival of the dormant ABCD Library working group, one of many IT interest groups under the ABCD umbrella. This group successfully relaunched and brings together technologists and librarians from across Harvard on a monthly basis.
