H4ckademic investigated providing a service for students to identify and share the best apps for academic use and resulted in the implementation of a tool call Infogr.am, which was incorporated into course websites at the Graduate School of Education. As the student use of apps and habits of personal information management may change from one course to another, and the pace of software and hardware change is rapid, it remains to be seen whether this service will be useful over the long term.
