Harvard Scholarship Indexing Project (HSIP) began as a requirements gathering and evaluation exercise to explore the feasibility of creating a University-wide bibliographic metadata repository for the management, tagging, and preservation of data about works produced by Harvard scholars. The results of the research and evaluation phase of the project were incorporated into development of the Harvard Faculty Finder.
